Sr Men’s home opener is this Saturday

Calling all Bytown Old Boys and Blues supporters: the Sr Men play their first match of the season on Saturday, May 10 at Twin Elm, vs the Ajax Wanderers!

The 2nd XV will be kicking off at 1:30PM, followed by the 1st XV at 3PM.  

We’d love to have the sidelines and/or stands full with Blues supporters as we step into Marshall action for the first time in decades!

Let’s also show the travelling Wanderers club some EORU hospitality and host them well in the Twin Elm clubhouse after the matches.

Blues on the move - Bytown excellence

Join us in congratulating some of the Blues doing us proud in higher competition and in capturing awards, both on and off the pitch!

Sarah (Jiggy) Schonfeld - named to u20 Women’s Canada roster

Twenty-eight players have been selected to represent Canada’s U20 Women’s Rugby Team this spring in Dublin. Canada will play against Ireland on May 10 and May 17 at the IRFU High Performance Centre.

Coen Quinn - named to u20 Men’s Canada roster

Coen and Canada’s U20 Men’s Rugby Team will compete in the 2025 Oceania Rugby U20s Challenge. This will be the second edition of the Oceania Rugby U20s Challenge, and will see Canada take on Samoa on May 28, Fiji on June 2, and Tonga on June 7 at King Charles Park in Nadi.


Elias Hancock- Canada Men’s Sevens

Elias helped lead Canada to a 3rd place overall finish in the Sevens Challenger Series. The team will aim to compete in the HSBC SVNS Division III series soon!


Ali Awada - True Sport Award Winner, uOttawa

The award goes to those individuals or teams who have embodied the True Sport Principles through their actions, with the goal of promoting the principles throughout the Gee-Gees community.


Ben Holahan - President’s Award Winner, uOttawa

For athletic and academic excellence, Ben maintained a 9.4 GPA while helping uOttawa’s men’s program to a CIS National Championship Tournament appearance.
