Double win for the Bytown Blues puts up a huge marker for the 2016 season as we clinch the top of the super league and the 2xv tied for 1st in the reserve division. here are the standings at the end of round 10:

According to the Quebec website the 2XV have finished 2nd behind the MTL Irish. Still giving them a home playoff game.
Playoff Bound
Both teams will be playing in the playoffs, stay tuned to see who is playing who. Both games will be at Twin Elm. Both teams get a first round bye and should be playing on September 10th.
EORU Championship Recap
the U18s are off to the Provincials next weekend, Aug 28th at Fletchers Field 3:00 pm and 5:00 pm. They won the EORU championships over the the Ottawa Irish.
Unfortunately the U 16s lost to Kingston in a hard fought match. Earlier in the day they played a combined team that was meant to be the Indians but was full of borrowed players, so big congrats to the U16 on a well done season.
Ontario vs Cork Constitution FC
3 of the Bytown Blues are in the lineup for the Ontario Blues as they take on Cork Constitution FC at Twin Elm Rugby Park on Monday August 29th. Ryan Surgenor, John Shaw and Patrick Lynott will be in the line-up on Monday. Kickoff for the match will be at 6pm. Admission is free for children under 16. General Admission Tickets are $10, at the gate or available online HERE
There will be a presentation of the MacTeir Cup to the Ontario Blues for their winning campaign in the Canadian Rugby Championship. Ryan Surgenor and Myles Dingwall represented EORU during 3 of the 4 CRC Games, 1 in Newfoundland and 2 at Fletchers Field.
