Win for the senior men over the Ottawa Irish

The results from the weekend speak for themselves as the Blues 1xv guaranteed their position at the top of the table with a 55-12 bonus point win over the Ottawa Irish. After 19 total games in the Super League the Bytown Blues are league champs.

The 2XV took a 29-11 win after a tough first quarter of the game. Determination and grit played a huge part as they beat back a much larger team. they have the chance to clinch the league This weekend in Quebec City. After the 2 amazing results on the weekend the tables look like this:

Weekend in Quebec City

The Senior men get to travel to Quebec city Saturday morning, staying at the University of Laval campus for the Saturday night. Games are at 1330 and 1500 at a field that has not been communicated to us just yet. update yourself on TeamSnap to let the coaches know your availability.

Juniors take on New Hall

Both the junior teams are in action Thursday night at Canterbury. Juniors take on New Hall at Canterbury at 1800 and 1915 on Thursday August 18th.

Their last touring side before EORU finals and subsequent ORU finals.


EORU Semi finals, consolations and finals

For those of you remaining in the city for the weekend the Juniors look to take the EORU title on Saturday at TERP. Timing seems to be a little weird as some of the juniors are away the the u18 CRC’s in Toronto.
