Bytown Blues Update for May 5th 2014

Posted on: May 5th, 2015 by Ryan Surgenor

Summer is almost here. Feels like summer but you know that the monsoon rain is just around the corner.

Training times for this week:

Tuesday: Club Training

Canterbury High School: 1830-2030

Wednesday: Club Fitness (All Registered Club members are welcome)

Canterbury High School: 1830-1930

Thursday: Team Training

Canterbury High School: 1830-1930

U18s who are registered and want to experience senior men’s training are encouraged and welcome to join us at these times. Those on representative U18 and U19 sides are expected to be at training.

Exhibition game at Ste. Anne de Belleview RFC

On Saturday May 9th, the Bytown Blues are headed to Montreal to take on Ste. Anne’s in a good old warm up game at John Abbot College.

This is a club warm up game, so all those registered with the Bytown Blues Senior men’s team will play. Tentative Start time is 12:00 but I will update the club if need be.

New Team Management Program and Phone App “TeamSnap”

TEAM SITE

Players are expected to respond to the weeks events and games on the Monday of the week. For example; if we are heading into a week playing the Ottawa Indians, we need to know if you will be at Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday Training, as well as the Game on the Saturday.

Failure to respond in time will result in a 2$ fine that will go towards Blues Day Festivities. This penalty will start accumulating the week of May 11th. So make sure you respond.

You will be added to the system after you register and our much loved Treasurer, Cecilia Nicol, gives me the ok that you are in good standing.

If you have any questions regarding TeamSnap, contact info@bytownbluesrugby.ca

Reminder to check your e-mail for the full registration links and explicit instructions to setting up and getting ready to play. As per usual if you have any questions or want to provide additional information feel free to email us at info@bytownbluesrugby.ca
