Canada places 3rd at Pacific Rugby Challenge
Canada’s best domestic player, playing as Canada ‘A’ finished their almost typhoon ridden exhibition series against Pacific nations team in Fiji this past week. Beating out Samoa ‘A’ in the final game, 28 – 26. Hats off to the boys on scoring in the last minute and beating the Samoan side that they lost to previously in the tournament. John Shaw and his action with Canada U20
Just on Monday Bytown Blues own John Shaw started for Canada U20 at the hooker position. Canada U20 played USA U20 All-Americans. Behind the States for most of the game, and dealing with typical wet and messy BC weather the U20s pulled it through with a last minute kick to win the first leg of their qualifying matches 23-22.
