Bytown Blues Update for February 3rd

Posted on: February 3rd, 2015 by Ryan Surgenor

February is here, finally. We are now one month closer to the start of the 2015 rugby season. 6 Nations rugby is starting this week so one of the most exciting annual tournaments will be in full effect in Europe.

Here are your training times for this week:

Juniors:

  • Time: Saturday 18:00-20:00
  • Location: Lees Campus Dome “200 Lees Avenue Ottawa Ont. K1S 5S9″

Senior Men: (10$ drop in fee)

  • Time: Saturday 17:55-19:00
  • Location: Lees Dome.

Club: CSAD Training (open to all club members)

  • Time: Monday 18:00-19:00
  • CSAD Gym: “Unit 1, 1665 Russell Rd, Ottawa, Ontario, K1G 4B8″

Leading the news docket this week, a number of our Juniors have been selected to the Ontario East 7s team who are travelling to the Las Vegas 7s invitational tournament. This is a pay to play system and as such our player are asking for donations to help them minimize costs of participating in the higher levels of rugby.

All our player links for donations can be found at an individual post here.

Senior Men playing schedule is in an early draft form so we should be expecting some developments on that front in the next few weeks.

That’s it for the first week of February. Hopefully the ground hog is wrong and we don’t have 6 more weeks of winter.

Comms out.
