In news this week we have some very exciting note to share with the club as eight of our junior members have been selected to represent Ontario East U18 7s team down in Las Vegas for the “Las Vegas Invitational Sevens Tournament”. The Club is very proud of those who represent the region and strive for playing the highest level available to them, with the Bytown Blues comprising 2/3 of the team, there is a chance to at some point in the tournament, be all Blues player on the field. The full write up by Rugby Onatio can be seen here.

The Junior Men who have been selected for the U18 teams are as follows:

Thomas Davidson
Nicholas De Lallo
Dawson Fatoric

On top of the Ontario selections we have 2 club members who have been selected to participate in Canada’s Under-20 Men’s Training Camp, this U20 team will compete to qualify for the Junior World Rugby Trophy 2015.
