Weekend Wrap-Up

Posted on: June 2nd, 2013 by Mark Ward

The Blues home opener featured two games on Saturday instead of the three that were originally scheduled. The two games that did go on featured enough action to make up for the shortened day.

It’s a very brief wrap-up this week, as the action on the pitch was too fast at times to keep track of everything. Both squads played cohesive, flowing rugby and the results will speak for themselves.

Saturday
Blues 1sts 43 – Parc Olympique 5
Blues 2nds 55 – Parc Olympique 27

Sunday
Blues U14 12 – Les Gaulois 5

As for the Blues 3rds, originally scheduled to play Upper Ottawa Valley on the weekend, they must wait until their season opens on June 12th against the Ottawa Irish. Kickoff is at 6:30pm.
