Senior Men: Blues battle for victory in Sarnia

This past weekend saw two full Blues sides make the 8-hour trek to Sarnia—and they made it count.

The Senior Men’s 1st XV ground out a massive, gritty 15–5 win over the Sarnia Saints, moving to the middle of the table with a record of 2–0–2. Meanwhile, the 2nd XV returned to winning form with a strong 29–17 victory. They now sit third overall with an impressive 3–0–1 record.

      Senior Women: Dominate Opening Tournament

Our Senior Women continued their stellar start to the season with a decisive 72–19 win over the Ottawa Wolves, improving their record to 4–0. The opening tournament was as close to perfect as it gets, with Bytown going 3–0 against the Brockville Privateers, Ottawa Wolves, and Ottawa Ospreys.

Even more impressively, the team racked up 17 tries while conceding none throughout the tournament. An outstanding start—congratulations to all involved! The momentum and support behind our women’s side continue to grow with every game.
