Bytown Proves too much for Quebec City
Bytown (3-1-0) should be one point behind Kingston (3-0-1) RQ has not updated their table on their website so here the link: http://rugbyquebec.com/?page_id=5245&lang=en
Kingston should be at 17 pts and Bytown at 16 pts.
John Russell honouring at Blues day (July 7th)
Please join the Bytown Blues and the family and friends of John Russell to celebrate his life and contribution to the rugby community at Twin Elm Rugby Park on Blues Club Day on Saturday July 7th at 2pm.
John began his sixty-year association with rugby in Ottawa in 1957 when he joined Ottawa’s first rugby club, the Bytown Beavers. He demonstrated an unprecedented love of and dedication to the sport of rugby for over 60 years in the Ottawa area. This was shown not only in the playing aspects of the game but also as a builder and consummate volunteer and administrator within the sport.
John made a tremendous contribution to Rugby locally, provincially and nationally. He will be sorely missed, but not forgotten.
Agenda:
2:00 – 3:00 pm Celebration of Life and Dedication of Founders Lounge (if you would like to say a few words about John please let us know. agarber@rogers.com )
