EORU Defeats Quebec in First Eastern Canada Championship Match

In a convincing 39-12 win the EORU Harlequins started off the campaign in good fashion. With excellent kicking from Bytown’s Josh Green and Gabriel Casey and hard running from John and Billy Shaw the tone of the game was set early. Up 17-0 at halftime on the back of 2 first half tries by Angus MacPhail and one by Aaron Dowd with Ibrahim Bouiahadj providing a convert. 2nd half started much quicker with a try from John Shaw to get the scoring going. Then a set piece run by Ryan Surgenor led to a pick and go for Dick Terrion to score left of the posts.

First game of the season – May 26th

The first game of the Bytown Blues 2018 senior mens season will be a home game vs newly promoted Sherbrooke on May 26th at Twin Elm. Come out and support the mens team as they look to continue their dominating performance in the Quebec Super league.

When: May 26th 1:30 and 3:00pm kickoffs

Where: Twin Elm Rugby Park

Against: Abenakis Rugby Sherbrooke

Blues Merchandise:

For 2018, the Blues are pleased to announce that on top of the merchandise in our stock from last year (t-shirts, training, etc…) we will be offering 4 new merchandising products. These products are from Under Armour and are sold through the sports store Source for Sports, on behalf of the club.

You can order the product by email, letter or in person.
Please note that products are normal fit, and all adult sizes are “MENS” size.
Instructions:
1) Contact Info:
        – Name of person paying
        – telephone #
        – Team (i.e. U13 Boys, U17 Girls, Sr Men)
              – if multiple teams, list all
2) Order quantity
       – for each product you wish to order, indicate number of items by size in the boxes provided
             i.e. for the Hustle Hoodie, if order 1 Youth Small and 1 Adult XL
                     In Youth sizes, place a ‘1’ under YS
                     In MENS sizes, place a ‘1’ under XL
3) Customize names?
         – insert name of player if adding name to sleeve (optional)
         – if you are adding names for multiple hoodies indicate which size the name is for
                 – i.e. if order Youth hoodie size YS for “John” and Mens XL “Dad”
                            in the names box…    John (YS), Dad (XL)
4) Totals by item:
      – 1 YS of Hustle hoodie with name
             – total Hustle Hoodie = $67
      – 1 Adult XL double threat hoodie
            – total Double Hoodie = $80
 
5) Compute grand total
         – above example would be $147
 
6) Order
           i) email:
                 – take picture or fill out as a PDF OR
                 – scan to PDF
                 – attach pic, or PDF, to email and send to  rob@barrhavensourceforsports.ca
          ii) In person at store
                 – go to Barrhaven Source for Sports
                   (1581 Greenbank Rd, full address on form)
         iii) By mail (slowest)
                 – fill out form, print and send to mail address on form
7) Payment:
         – when the product is ready for purchase you will receive a phone call
         – payment is due when you pick up the product in store
