Bytown Blues Update December 13th 2017

Winter Program (11 -18 years old):

Announcing the Blues 2018 Winter training program, is now ready for registrants. The junior portion
s available to any players from the age of 11 – 18 years of age, boys and girls. You do not need to
be registered with a club, or the Blues, to participate. It is a great way to learn the game, prepare
for your high school season or the upcoming club season.
Sessions:   11 sessions
Dates:         Saturday 6:00 – 7:00 PM
Season:      Sat Jan 6 – Sat Mar 31 (11 sessions)
                            Jan 27th and Feb 24th are reserved for the
                            mini’s Try Rugby sessions
Cost:         $170 (all 11 sessions)
                   $120 (8 sessions)
                   $90 (6 sessions)
                   $60 (4 sessions)

Payment Methods:

For 2017 registered Blues players:
              1) Team Snap fee (select fee and pay by Paypal or credit card)
              2)  eTransfer to Cecilia Nicol (treasurer@bytownbluesrugby.ca)
                         – if so please indicate players name and 2017 age group
              3)  Online (bytownbluesrugby.ca/winter-registration) or click “Winter Registration Live on main web page”
                             – fill out registration form (required for insurance purposes)
                                       – pay by PayPal or Credit card
                                       – or pay by etransfer
For everyone else:
              1)  Online (bytownbluesrugby.ca/winter-registration) or click “Winter Registration Live on main web page”
                             – fill out registration form (required for insurance purposes)
                                       – pay by PayPal or Credit card
                                       – or pay by etransfer

Winter Program Senior Men:

The insurance coverage covers any player, whether registered with Rugby Canada or not
Sessions:   11 sessions

Season:      Sat Jan 6 – Sat Mar 31 (11 sessions)

TERP:

TERP is putting together a Fundraising initiative after Christmas to raise money to fix up the park. More to follow once TERP publishes.

2018 Annual General Meeting

As secretary of the Bytown Blues, I am announcing that the Bytown Blues Annual General Meeting has been set for Sat December 30th, 2017 at 11:30 am

The Blues 2017 AGM will be held on Saturday Dec, 30th 11:30 am at Lorenzo’s Restaurant (201 Arch St, Ottawa, ON K1G 2H5).
The delay is to give TERP needed time to get the fundraising opportunities up and running. It is a situation that, Bytown Blues,
as the leading rugby club in Eastern Ontario, both on and off the field need to assess.
