Bytown Blues Update for July 14th 2015

Blues Day was a huge success this week. All 5 blues team playing that day came out with a victory. 1XV (26-25) and 2XV 26 with wins over the Ottawa Irish.

Training times for this week:

Tuesday: Club Training

Canterbury High School:

U18: 18:00 – 20:00

Mens: 1830-2030

St Patrick’s High school:

U16: 17:30 – 19:30

Wednesday: Club Fitness (All Registered Club members are welcome)

Mooney’s Bay Park (meet at top of hill) 1830-1930

Thursday: Team Training

Canterbury High School:

U18: 18:00 – 20:00

Mens: 1830-2030

St Patrick’s High school:

U16: 17:30 – 19:30

U18s who are registered and want to experience senior men’s training are encouraged and welcome to join us at these times. Those on representative U18 and U19 sides are expected to be at training.


 

3XV Game vs the Ottawa Wolves. 

1XV and 2XV have a bye so the Game this week is in Ottawa Wolves.

Players are expected to update their TeamSnap.


 

Canvas Bag Proposal

A Few members of the club have proposed getting Bytown Blues Canvas Bags by IARugby.com. They are currently sourced at about 90$ a bag. So if you are interested feel free to talk to Ryan Surgenor at training or email the info@ email account for more information.


Older Kit and Club Clothing still on Sale

All the Items you saw at Blues Day are still on sale. They range from $15-65. If you saw anyhting you liked and did not have the money on hand feel free to email Info@bytownbluesrugby.ca and we can see if we can get it into your hands.


Canada Game on August 22nd 2015

Club Members: players (minis, U14, U16, U18 and Sr. Men), supporters, parents:

Canada v USA – August 22 match tickets are available for purchase at a much reduced rate.
Contact Michael Lesaux and/or Sam (Donny) Adams to arrange your purchase. they can be found at training Tuesday and Thursday evening – Canterbury HS

$30: includes fun bus and ticket
or
$15: for a ticket (you arrange your transport)
$15: fun bus transport (no ticket)
Again, Sam and Mike will be collecting cash at practices in the coming weeks.
