Blues Junior U16 and U18 Squads Prepare For Start of Season With Two Upcoming Events

The start of the Blues U16 and U18 seasons will be starting shortly and in anticipation of this, there will be a few events held to kick off the season.

Registration Session for U16 & U18

With registration moving all online for 2014, and having worked out a few bugs along with the way with the senior mens, the club will be setting up shop in order to walk parent through the process. This will give parents an opportunity to ask any questions as they get the players registered.

The session will be held in a boardroom at Chapters, near the IKEA on Pinecrest, on Wednesday May 28th from 7pm to 9pm. There will be laptops set up to walk anybody get through the registration process.

This will also give players a chance to sign up for the upcoming U16 and U18 Toronto trip in June. Paying by cheque is the preferred and the player must be registered to sign up.

As previously mentioned, the Blues U16 and U18 squads will be heading to Toronto on June 13th to take on Balmy Beach and watch Canada take on Scotland at BMO Field.

BBQ & Touch Rugby for all registered junior players

To help kick the season off for any registered U16 and U18 players, there will be a BBQ and touch session on Sunday, June 1st from 6 to 8pm at Canterbury High School. For those that haven’t registered by this point, there will be a chance to do so at the school.. so make sure to come out and get a run in with the squad before the season begins.
