Rest In Peace, Sam McFall

Posted on: January 17th, 2014 by Bytown Blues RFC

The Bytown Blues are in mourning this week after the passing of one of our Life Members and long time supporter of the rugby community within Ottawa.

The immortal Sam McFall (the single best publican ever created) late owner of the Duke of Somerset and Life Member of the Bytown Blues passed away this week. There is a service for Sam at the Heart and Crown in the Byward Market this Sunday starting at 3:00pm. If you were ever even remotely connected to Rugby in Ottawa or hung out at the Duke please raise a glass to one of the games greatest patrons on Sunday.

He will be missed.
