2025 Winter Registration (NEW PLAYERS) U14+:

(OPENS SOON - Dec 15, 2024)

All New Members are welcome to join us; however, registration and payment will have to wait until the 2025 Off-Season Registration is open in early December. This is so that you are not paying the higher 2024 RO/RC fees to play in games. This will allow you to register for the winter training at less than half the price and will get you a head start on your payment towards your full 2025 membership. The steps to complete your registration and payment are:

1) On or after Dec 15, 2024, register for the Off-season Membership using this link

N.B.: here you are only paying the RO/RC fees required for the insurance portion to participate in training.

2) Using this link please pay the Bytown Blues winter fee listed below, by age grade, for the winter dome sessions.

Please note that this 2025 registration and the minimal RO/RC payment is valid from the date of purchase until April 30, 2025. This registration can and has to be upgraded for the 2025 Summer rugby season in order to play in games.

For players registered with Blues in summer and fall program, payment is to be made using this event link.

2025 Winter Registration (BLUES & NEW PLAYERS) U14+:

Members who require Payment Plans for the 2025 summer rugby season. This is an excellent way to pay part of the 2025 RO/RC fees in December and to upgrade your membership after April 30, 2025, to pay the remaining RO/RC fees for the full summer rugby season and/or a Fall membership.

For players wishing to play up an age grade, there are strict requirements from Rugby Ontario.

Before starting this process please contact our Blues Registrar for the proper and current process, as it may have changed.

STEP 1: Signup for your current age grade

STEP 2: Fill out the following form (with certified coach assessment, parent and doctor) and email to RO at the address found on page 3 of forms OR to Rugby Ontario Member Services

STEP 3: Once approval from Rugby Ontario is given, upgrade your membership type in SportLomo, select your current 2024 registration and click button on far right with up arrow. A video to help can be found here.

The Bytown Blues RFC strives to ensure that every child who would like to play rugby has the opportunity to do so. We realize that it can be expensive for some families to register their children in the sport of rugby in our community. To support and to help families enroll their children in rugby there are local programs which can assist families with the costs associated with registration, as well as the required equipment to participate.
