Ottawa University Dome
As with all indoor facilities, every player, 12+, participating must be double vaccinated, unless exempted from the vaccine. This is a requirement by Rugby Canada and Ontario, and anyone on the University of Ottawa Campus. Campus staff may be present at the facility and can ask for documented proof of vaccination or exemption proof. Ottawa University wants everyone to login online to their portal, upload the vaccination proof and submit an attestation online to their portal. More details to follow when we get closer to the date.
What to look forward to
We’re going to be breaking down the field into three sections, one each for minors, juniors, and senior players.
Minor players (U10-U14) will train and learn rugby with a fun emphasis on skills, games and passing. Near the end of the 13 sessions (3-4 sessions) we will gradually build up towards contact for U12 & U14, in preparation for the spring season. U10 will be non-contact.
Junior players (u16 & u18) will train to learn and prepare for spring school and 2022 club season. Fun learning environment to learn the game and hone skills on all facets of the game. Boys and girls run separately, some drills may join up.
U19 & senior women will train with the U16-18 women
Senior Men will train in preparation for the 2022 season, along with u19 men.
